Tuli Wamu Children's Center
Children at the center receive daily nutritious meals, safe housing, and access to healthcare. In addition to meeting basic needs and providing love and support, UCare prioritizes education so that all their children can attend school and receive the academic support necessary to succeed. The organization also focuses on personal development through life-skills training, mentorship, and activities (art, dance, music, sports, events etc.) that help children develop confidence, responsibility, and social connections.
UCare provides a permanent home and holistic support for vulnerable and abandoned children at their Tuli Wamu Children’s Center in Luzira, Kampala. The organization’s services are designed to address both immediate needs and long-term development, ensuring that children receive the care, love, support, and opportunities necessary to build stable futures.

I came to UCare when I was 9 years old. I was scared yet now I am so grateful for the love and care I have received, and all of the other children that are now my family.
